Russia sends unmanned cargo vehicle to International Space Station

Russia, International Space Progress MS-18 drone to station cargo sent his car. The moment of launch, which took place at 03:00 CEST from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, was broadcast live on the Russian Federal Space Agency’s (ROSCOSMOS) website.

The launch and the progress of the rocket were closely followed by the experts of the Russian Space Flight Center in the capital Moscow. With the cargo vehicle in question, 1,490 kilograms of food, fuel and scientific equipment, as well as 420 liters of water and 43 kilograms of oxygen, were sent to the Zvezda Russian module on the International Space Station.

The launched MS-18 cargo spacecraft is expected to dock with the Zvezda module on the station at 04:34 tonight.
