Russia sees US, UK and Poland supporting Kursk attack

Moscow. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has revealed that the United States, Britain and Poland were involved in organizing Ukraine’s attack on the border province of Kursk on August 6.

“According to available information, the special services of the United States, Great Britain and Poland took part in the preparation of the operation of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk region,” the SVR said, according to the newspaper Izvestia.

On August 6, Ukrainian troops stormed the Russian border region of Kursk. The Ukrainian attacks left at least 12 civilians dead and more than 120 wounded, including ten children, and thousands of civilians were forced to leave the area.

According to the SVR, NATO military advisers are assisting Ukrainian troops who have invaded Russian territory.

NATO countries are providing the Ukrainian military with satellite data on the position of Russian forces in Kursk, according to Russian intelligence.

The Ukrainian army has lost more than 4,130 soldiers and 58 tanks so far in the Kursk operation, according to a report by the Russian Defense Ministry published on Tuesday.
