MOSCOW – Strategic stability architecture quickly collapses and medium-range missiles United States of America (USA) will soon appear in Europe. The warning was expressed by the Russian Foreign Minister (Menlu) Sergey Lavrov on Thursday (2/12/2021).

“The architecture of strategic stability is rapidly collapsing, NATO refuses to constructively consider our proposals to reduce tensions and prevent dangerous incidents. Instead, the alliance’s military infrastructure was brought closer to Russia’s borders. The nightmare scenario of military confrontation is back,” Lavrov said at the 28th OSCE Council of Ministers meeting.

Lavrov added Moscow would insist on developing an agreement that would exclude NATO advances to the east.
