“Despite obstacles from Kiev, 16,480 people, including 3,354 children, were evacuated from the dangerous areas of the People’s Republic of Ukraine, Donetsk and Lugansk to the territory of the Russian Federation last day without the involvement of the Ukrainian authorities, and a total of 1,002,429 people, 183,168 of whom were children, ”said Mizincev.
He also claimed that more than 2.75 million Ukrainians and foreigners had asked to be evacuated to Russia, the so-called Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and the Russian-controlled areas in Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Kherson Oblasts.
“There are a total of 2,753,625 such requests from 2,132 settlements in Ukraine,” Mizincev said.
According to him, there are more than 9,500 fully equipped temporary accommodation points in the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly reported the forced deportations of Ukrainians, including orphans, to Russia, in particular from Mariupol and Izjum.
