Russia’s aggression has killed at least 2,000 civilians in Ukraine


Kyiv, March 2, LETA – UKRAINIAN PRAVDA. More than 2,000 civilians have been killed in the aggression of Russian troops since the start of the repeated invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine’s State Emergency Situations Service said.

In seven days since the start of full-scale warfare, Russian aggressors have destroyed hundreds of transport infrastructure, residential buildings, hospitals and kindergartens.

21 children have been killed and 55 injured since the start of the war, according to Lyudmila Denisova, a spokeswoman for the Ukrainian parliament on human rights.

The state emergency service has saved more than 150 lives and eliminated more than 400 fires caused by Russian aviation and artillery shelling. An evacuation of 500 people has taken place. Sapper has made 416 shots harmless.

Ten rescuers were killed and 13 injured in the course of their duties.
