A hadith came Shoigu During his speech after a speech by Russian President Vladimir Put in Announcing the packaging Partial military in Russia Against the backdrop of the war Ukraine.

Shoigu said in a speech broadcast on Russian television: "The losses of the Russian army amounted to 5,937 people since the start of the military operation".

On the other hand, the Russian defense minister said that Ukrainian forces have lost about 60,000 of their soldiers in the war.

The latest statistics published by Moscow on deaths in Ukraine dates back to last March.

At the time, it was rumored that 1,351 Russian soldiers had been killed in the war and no new tolls have been published since that date.

Although the figure announced today by Shoigu seems large compared to the losses announced 6 months ago, it is much lower than the figures announced by Kiev and the West.

Ukraine claims that the Russian military has lost more than 43,000 people since the outbreak of the war, while Western estimates indicate that the number does not exceed 15,000.
