In 2024-2025, there will be a gradual transition to deep localization of auto electronics at the level of electronic components. Some components have already been worked out. Their production will begin in the next two years, said Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Shpak on the sidelines of the Digital Transportation forum.
In the next two years, Russia plans to begin serial import substitution of a number of components, such as printed circuit boards, navigation modules, resistors, as well as capacitors and connectors.
One of the first systems on board that became Russian was ERA-GLONASS. The production of domestic ABS systems has already been established, and the production of ESP systems will soon begin.
The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that their initial task was to ensure the presence of Russian devices on board cars so as not to lose functionality until 2022-2023. Starting in 2024, the new task will be to increase the localization of these devices using Russian components. Next year, a gradual inclusion of Russian electronic components in Russian auto-electronic devices is expected.
In October, the creators of Atom revealed new facts about the Russian electric car. It is known that the range of the electric vehicle will be 500 km, and the maximum speed will be 170 km/h.
