Russia orders withdrawal from the city of Kherson
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu orders troops to withdraw from the western bank of the Dnipro River, including the city of Kherson.
The news agency Reuters reports.
According to the opposition channel Vot Tak, the soldiers will be withdrawn in the near future.
Kherson is located west of the Dnipro River and is a strategically important city during the war in Ukraine.
Kherson was occupied by Russia soon after Russian forces invaded Ukraine in February.
