According to French military intelligence sources, Russia is expected to soon deliver nine intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance drones to the Hmeimim military infrastructure in Syria. In this case it is the model called Forpost.
This information of a technological nature would be completely marginal if there were not a war currently underway between Israel and Hamas, but it assumes great importance since these drones are manufactured by Russia, but under license from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
Israeli military intelligence, Aman, rightly wants to prevent Russia from completing this delivery, but if it has tools to prevent the transfer of drones, bilateral relations with Moscow are at an all-time low.
One of the peculiarities of these drones is the fact that they have the possibility of carrying very precise guided bombs. It becomes superfluous at this point to point out that if these drones reached Hezbollah, they would allow intelligence and attack operations on the Golan Heights to the detriment of the Israeli surveillance system.
