This was stated by the President Vladimir Putin in an interview with Russian television station Rossiya-1.
“Amid today’s conditions, since all the leading countries of NATO have announced our strategic defeat as their ultimate goal to make our people suffer as they say, how can we not consider their nuclear potential amidst this environment?” he said as quoted from TASSSunday (26/2/2023).

According to Putin, the supply of weapons provided by NATO to Ukraine can be considered if the bloc participates in the war.
“They supply weapons worth tens of billions of dollars to Ukraine. This is participation. Why? Because it’s not just military-technical cooperation, because they don’t receive money for it,” Putin said.
“The weapons were sent unilaterally, meaning indirectly, but still participating in the crimes of the Kiev regime,” he added.

Furthermore, Putin said the West could only accept Russia into its so-called civilized family of peoples by dividing the country.
“And later (after liquidating Russia) they may include us in the so-called family of civilized society, but only in parts, each part separately. For what? To organize the parts and put them under their control.” he concluded.
