Government Russia mention a number of terms and conditions for the possibility of the President Vladimir Putin attend a high-level conference (summit) invitation G20 in Bali, in November.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed to have received an invitation from the Indonesian President, Joko Widodorelated to the G20 meeting in Bali in November.
“Jakarta has tentatively informed President Vladimir Putin’s plans to attend (at the G20),” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday (6/7), quoted TASS.
They then continued, “President Vladimir Putin’s attendance format depends on the situation in the world and takes into account the sanitation and epidemiological conditions of Southeast Asia.”
Epidemiological conditions refer to the health situation following the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, was present at the meeting between the Foreign Ministers (FMM) in Bali which took place today, Thursday (7/7) and Friday (8/7).
In his official statement, Lavrov considered the G20 as a leading forum for international economic cooperation and as an effective mechanism for multilateral governance.
“On the basis of good judgment decisions must be made in the interests of the whole world,” he said.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs views that the G20 is a forum to fight the global economic and financial crisis, promote sustainable economic growth and development, and respond to the growing role of emerging markets in the world economy.
According to them, Moscow appreciates Indonesia’s leadership in the G20, impartiality in leadership and focus on results.
“We share the relevance of the priority issues declared by Jakarta: health, energy security, and digitalization,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Russia said it was ready to contribute significantly to making progress in all areas when the G20 summit took place.
“Of course Indonesia is heading towards multilateralism, considering the interests of all participants in the group to determine the right work vector,” they said.
The G20 summit in Bali has been in the spotlight amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Russia is a member of this forum.
Several Western countries, which are also members of the G20, condemned Russia’s attacks on their neighbors. RI continues to make diplomatic efforts to ensure that all countries are present.
However, the smells of hostility between countries wafted out, even during the meeting between Foreign Ministers this time. For example, the United States Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken did not want to have a bilateral meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister and was reluctant to take official photos.
