With its missile strikes, Russia is trying to disrupt the plans and preparations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for a counteroffensive, Skibitsky said.
Intense strikes are being carried out both on the front line and on other territories in Ukraine, the representative of the Ukrainian intelligence agency pointed out.
According to Skibitsky, Russia is trying to hit with missiles objects that have a lot of weapons and other military objects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia is launching missile strikes “at our command posts (decision-making centers), supply routes and points with a lot of ammunition and equipment, at fuel storage sites, and also at areas where our troops are concentrated. The enemy began to pay special attention to the areas where our air defense assets are located,” Skibicki also said.
In addition, Russia actively uses its aviation. According to Skibitsky, Russia’s operational-tactical aviation daily uses about 20-25 KAB-500 aviation bombs and strikes on the front line and on the territories located in the immediate vicinity of the front.
