“Russia Launches Massive Drone Attack on Kiev, Over 20 Drones Destroyed”

The military administration of the Ukrainian capital said in the early hours of Tuesday morning that the air defense forces destroyed more than 20 drones in an air attack launched by Russia overnight on Kiev.

Sergei Popko, the head of the military administration in Kiev, described the attack as “massive” and said on the messaging app Telegram that Russia launched it using only Iranian-made Shahed aircraft.

The attack was mobilized from different directions and axes and on several waves, and the air alert continued for nearly 3 hours continuously.

This is the third attack on the city within 24 hours, and it is not yet known how many drones were launched by Russia during this operation.

The administration indicated that one person was killed and 3 others were injured in the Holoseevsky neighborhood, after a fire broke out on the last two floors of a multi-storey residential building, due to falling debris from the marches.
