The Ukrainian government accused Russia has committed genocide after the discovery of mass graves and the bodies of civilians shot dead, lying on the streets of the city bushingnear Kiev, the capital Ukraine. Russia is also called worse than the group ISIS.
Reported from News.com.auMonday (4/4/2022), Ukrainian officials said, at least 410 people have been found dead in towns near Kiev so far, with 300 dead in bushingand 57 bodies were found in a mass grave there.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said: “Russia worse than ISIS. They kill civilians on the go – out of anger and just because they want to kill.
“We are still collecting bodies but the number is already in the hundreds,” he added.
Government Russia has denied allegations that its soldiers killed civilians. Moscow says no residents have suffered from the violence from Russian troops and accuses the government of Ukraine staged the gruesome scene for the western media.
However, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned that the gruesome images were evidence that Russia was committing war crimes in Ukraine.
Mayor bushingAnatoly Fedoruk, said “all these people were shot”, adding that another 280 bodies had been buried in mass graves elsewhere in the city.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told the BBC that “it looks exactly like a war crime”.
