Russia is waiting for the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in Crimea. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov on the air of the TV channel “Russia 1”.
“Are we waiting for the President of Belarus in Crimea? Of course, we are waiting,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
At the moment the date of arrival is not specified of the Belarusian head in Crimea.

On July 3, Putin congratulated Lukashenko on Belarus’ Independence Day. The Russian leader expressed his conviction that Moscow and Minsk would continue to strengthen allied ties and develop integration in the Eurasian space, which benefits both countries.
Also on June 12, Lukashenko congratulated his Russian counterpart and all Russians on Russia Day, noting that relations between the two countries will develop in the interests of both peoples. The President of Belarus noted that the Russians own a great country with a unique history and invaluable cultural heritage.
