Russia is developing a plan to bring Brazilian football legends to Moscow

Kirill Tereshin, head of the marketing department of the Russian football federation, came up with such a plan in the Russian media. According to him, it is very possible that such a game with the participation of the mentioned football players could take place, and all efforts are made to bring the former Brazilian football stars to the country.

“I think the game between the legends of Russia and Brazil is very possible. Kafu needs to talk to the players. If they mutually agree that they are ready to come, it will be a great celebration for Moscow. The stadium would be sold out without any problems. Bring Ronaldinho, Kafu, Rivaldo , Tafarel and Kaká,” Russian sports media reports.

Is Ronaldinho and Rivaldo coming to Russia real?

Tereshin did not hide that in this case it is about money – players’ fees. “It’s purely a question of money. But everything is doable. We have to set this as our goal,” Tereshin said in a conversation with “RB Sport”.

The mentioned players are former world top class players. For example, Ronaldinho played for such clubs as Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan from 2001 to 2011. The 44-year-old attacking midfielder ended his career in 2015.

The 53-year-old Cafu, who won the World Cup with Brazil in 1994 and 2002, has been linked to Russia before. When Russia hosted the World Cup finals in 2018, he was among eight football legends who visited the Kremlin and took part in the group stage draw. Diego Maradona, Carles Puyol, Diego Forlan and Fabio Cannavaro also participated.

Rivaldo was once one of the leaders of “Barcelona” and “Milan”. On the other hand, Kaká has represented such teams as “Milan” and “Real” Madrid.
