Russia is developing a new kind of military operation with nuclear weapons

Russia is developing a new type of military operations, which does not exclude the use of nuclear weapons to protect against possible aggression by the United States, announced the first deputy commander of the Russian strategic missile forces, Lt. Gen. Igor Fazletdinov.

His opinion was published in the magazine “Military Thought” and quoted by BTA.

According to Fazletdinov’s article, the USA is losing its leadership in the world and that is where its “aggression” towards Russia comes from – “the main culprit for the loss of American world dominance”.

Washington is changing both its rhetoric and its military policy course.

The US wants to destroy Russia, Fazletdinov claims.

The “defeat” of the federation is planned to be carried out in the form of a strategic (global) operation in many spheres with the ultimate goal of reducing Russia’s nuclear potential to zero.

The expert does not rule out an instant nuclear strike on the Russian Federation, which would suddenly destroy nearly 70 percent of Russia’s strategic nuclear forces.

In his article he points out, chis “a key tool for countering attempts to carry out the aggressive plans of the Pentagon” will be developed currently by Russian military experts “Strategic Deterrence Force Operation”.

Within the framework of this operation, Russia will use various modern weapons – offensive and defensive, nuclear and non-nuclear, specifies Lieutenant General Fazletdinov, quoted in “Rosiyskaya Gazeta”.
