Office Ukraine reported an increase in attacks Russia in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions of eastern Ukraine, Friday (15/4).
The situation in the three regions is reported to be increasingly tense.
“It’s getting more and more tense,” Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said in televised remarks. CNN.
“Shootings, air strikes have increased. Since yesterday in the north of the Donetsk region on the border with the Kharkiv region, there have been breakthrough attempts,” Kyrylenko added.
From Kharkiv, Syniehubov, head of the military administration also reported shootings in the residential area of Kharkiv. He said at least 34 people were injured, including three children, and seven people were killed, including a 7-month-old baby.
From Luhansk, the shooting in the city of Severodonetsk reportedly damaged the water supply system.
“The attack also destroyed two food warehouses,” said Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk regional military administration.
“Russia is attacking infrastructure,” Haidai said, noting that Russian fire hit the cities of Rubizhne and Kreminna as well as Severodonetsk.
In a separate statement, Haidai said volunteers carrying humanitarian aid from local residents came under attack in the city of Lysychansk, killing a man and wounding his wife.
