Russia hopes for peace with Ukraine, but insists there is no bargaining in its interests

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Russia claiming it hopes for peace with Ukraine can be achieved soon.

Nevertheless, Russia stressed that he did not want any bargaining to defend his interests, namely demilitarization and de-nazification Ukraine.

“We will not bargain, we protect our interests. Our goal of demilitarization and de-nazification Ukraine.”

“And according to our President (Vladimir Putin) it will happen,” said the Ambassador Russia for Indonesia, Lyudmila Vorobieva, at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday (23/3/2022), quoted from Kompas.com.

Regarding the Russian invasion, Vorobieva claimed Moscow never wanted war.

In fact, he confirmed Russia don’t want to destroy Ukraine.

Furthermore, Vorobieva said the military operation would stop if Russia and Ukraine can make peace through diplomatic means.

Therefore, Vorobieva could not say for sure when the war would end.
