In the last few hours, Russian air defense systems shot down a total of 15 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over the regions of Belgrade y Kurskboth bordering Ukrainereported this Thursday the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
According to the military statement, published on Telegram, twelve drones were shot down in the Belgorod region, eleven of them last night and the remaining one this morning.
Three other unmanned aircraft were destroyed over the neighboring Kursk region.
Defense reported no casualties or destruction as a result of the attacks.
Faced with a lack of artillery ammunition, kyiv is turning to self-made drones to hit the Russian rear, in particular arms factories, refineries and fuel depots.
