Russia Fires 41 Missiles at Ukraine: Casualties, Recon, and Breakdown of Launch Sites

How many missiles did Russia fire?

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that this time the enemy launched a combined missile attack on Ukraine, using cruise, ballistic, aircraft and anti-aircraft guided missiles.

A total of 41 enemy air attack weapons were recorded. Most missiles of the types that attack along a ballistic trajectory:

  • 4 anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300/S-400 from the Belgorod region in the direction of the Kharkov region;
  • 15 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from six Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area – Engels, Russian Federation);
  • 8 X-22 missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers from Bryansk and Oryol region. – in the direction of Kharkov and Sumy regions;
  • 12 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area – Belgorod and Voronezh regions)
  • 2 X-59 guided aircraft missiles from two Su-34 aircraft (launch area – Belgorod region – Russian Federation).

As a result of combat work by the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of the Defense Forces, the following were destroyed:

  • 15 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles;
  • 5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
  • 1 X-59 guided aircraft missile.

“It is important that not all enemy missiles attacking along a ballistic trajectory reached their targets,” Zaluzhny adds.

Information about the consequences by region,

  • In the Svyatoshinsky district there was a fire in cars, an apartment in a multi-storey residential building and damage to non-residential buildings.
  • Pechersky district – there is damage to a non-residential building.
  • Solomensky district – damage to a residential building.
  • Darnitsky district – debris fell on the roof of a multi-storey residential building and on the territory of a kindergarten (without destruction or fire).

According to the latest data, as of this hour there are 18 casualties in the capital as a result of the Russian missile attack. Of these, 13 were hospitalized, including three children. One 13-year-old boy and four adult victims were treated by paramedics at the scene. One woman was taken to intensive care and continues to receive intensive care.

According to the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration Nikolai Povoroznik, about 20 missiles initially flew towards Kyiv, all of them were shot down.

He also said that several five-story buildings are now being evacuated due to an undetonated missile warhead. Part of it is in the courtyard of the house, part of it is in one of the apartments.

Updated (10:35). In Kyiv, the number of victims has already reached 20

As of this hour, there are 20 casualties in the capital as a result of the Russian missile attack. Of these, 13 were hospitalized, including three children.

One 13-year-old boy and six adult victims were treated at the scene by paramedics. One woman was resuscitated. She is in serious condition in the intensive care unit.

Kharkiv

In Kharkov, the occupiers launched several strikes in the Kyiv and Saltovsky districts. Preliminary – with X-22 missiles.

The strikes killed at least two people and injured 38, including two children aged 10 and 12.

An entire entrance to a high-rise building in the city was destroyed, there was damage to an educational institution and other civil infrastructure.

According to the National Police, there were two strikes in the city. The first at 4.00: three missiles at civilian targets in Kharkov and two at a civilian target in Balakleya.

According to the head of KhOVA Oleg Sinegubov, the occupiers launched about 12 combined missile strikes on residential areas of Kharkov with S-300, Kh-32 and Iskander missiles.

As of now, three deaths are known. 48 people were injured, 4 of them were children and teenagers aged 10, 12, 14 and 17 years old, their condition was average. All victims were taken to hospitals. Among adults, 5 are in serious condition.

Pavlograd

There is damage in the private sector due to falling debris. Infrastructure, two schools and 8 high-rise buildings were damaged.

Kyiv region

Rescuers are working in the Buchansky district. Two multi-storey buildings, a private house, outbuildings and cars were damaged. Three people were injured.

Shostka

In the Sumy region at 7:05 am the aggressor launched a missile attack on critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Shostka.

All necessary services are currently operating on site.
