Russia announces the downing of a missile over the Crimean Peninsula
The Russian-appointed governor of the city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozaev, announced on Monday evening that Russian air defenses shot down a missile on Monday over the Crimean Peninsula.
He said, in a post on Telegram: “Our army repels a missile attack. According to preliminary data, the air defense shot down a missile near Belbek Airport. Work continues.”
Razvozaev added, at 8:57 pm local time, that the authorities declared a state of alert for air strikes throughout the region, before announcing its end an hour later.
