Russia did not ask for fuel from Kazakhstan..?

Russia has not requested additional 100,000 tons of fuel to Kazakhstan, but Astana is ready to consider this request if necessary.

According to information obtained by SIA, Shingish Ilyasov, adviser to the energy minister of the republic, informed “Interfax” about this.

According to the official, there is a shortage of gasoline in Kazakhstan, so it will be difficult to meet Moscow’s potential demand.

It should be noted that on this eve, Reuters reported, citing three sources in the industry, that because Moscow was afraid of problems in the background of drone attacks from Ukraine, the Kremlin asked the Kazakh authorities for help with fuel.

One of the sources claimed that the contract of 100,000 tons has already been agreed at the highest level.

At the same time, according to the Russian Ministry of Energy, gasoline and diesel fuel reserves in the country remain continuously high.

And there is no emergency in this area.
