Russia announced that their troops had destroyed a foreign arms aid hangar that the United States and other Western countries had sent for Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that they destroyed the hangar in Zaporizhzhia containing foreign weapons aid on Wednesday (27/4).
“At the aluminum plant in Zaporizhzhia, high-precision long-range Kalibr missiles destroyed a hangar containing large quantities of foreign weapons and ammunition supplied by the United States and European countries to Ukrainian forces,” they said in a statement.
However, AFP reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense did not elaborate on the type of weapon they destroyed.
The Red Bear Country destroyed the aid when the United States was bringing together 40 countries in Germany.
There, the US held a special meeting to discuss arms assistance for Ukraine, which is still being pounded by Russia.
Recently, President Volodymyr Zelensky has been screaming for other countries to provide weapons assistance because of the increasingly brutal Russian troops, especially in eastern Ukraine.
However, Western countries are reluctant to provide military assistance for fear that they will be involved in a direct confrontation with Russia. If that happens, the conflict in Ukraine will widen.
However, conditions in Ukraine are reportedly getting worse. During the meeting, a number of countries began to change course, including Germany.
For the first time, they publicly announced that they would send tank aid to Ukraine. However, there are no exact details of the delivery of the assistance.
