Russia announced today, Sunday, that it had deployed a fighter plane to prevent a US Air Force reconnaissance drone from crossing its borders over the Black Sea.
The Russian Information Agency, quoting the Ministry of Defense, reported that a Russian military aircraft (Su-30) accompanied an American reconnaissance drone (Reaper).
The Russian news agency Tass said that the drone did not violate the borders of the Russian state.
“As the Russian fighter approached, the American march diverted its course away from the borders of the Russian Federation,” a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
