“Everything is working normally, there is no major threat,” VGTRK highlighted in a note to the Interfax news agency.
The Russian authorities have echoed what happened and have highlighted the quick intervention of the company’s employees to resolve the problems that could have been caused to digital media platforms such as television networks such as Rossiya 1 and Rossiya 24.
The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zajarova, has announced that the Russian Government plans to denounce this interference in all international forums in which it is present, including the United Nations.
According to sources from the kyiv Security services, the pro-Ukrainian hacker collective Sudo rm-RF is behind these attacks, reports the Ukrinform news agency. It is a kind of “birthday gift” for the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who celebrates his 72nd birthday this Monday.
Thus, as revealed by these sources, since early this Monday, around twenty television channels have ceased to be available, both through the Internet and through conventional broadcasting.
