“This is not how we understand it. There is no agreement on the presence of Turkish peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh,” said Peskov, as reported by Al Arabiya on Thursday (12/11/2020).
Previously reported, the Turkish presidential office said Erdogan discussed the establishment of a “common center” in a telephone conversation with Russian President, Vladimir Putin yesterday.
“President Erdogan said Turkey will engage in surveillance and monitoring of joint activities with Russia through a joint center in a location to be designated by Azerbaijan in the territory rescued from Armenian occupation,” said the Turkish presidency.
He stressed the importance of opening a corridor between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan to allow the return of Azerbaijani refugees. (Read also: Erdogan to Putin: Nagorno-Karabakh Armistice The Right Way)
