Russia Denies Involvement in Plane Crash That Killed Wagner Group Chief

Russia denies involvement in plane crash that killed 10 people, including Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigoshin. The Russian military confirmed on Thursday night that all 10 people on the plane, including the pilot, were killed. Russian President Vladimir Putin also expressed his condolences on the death.

In the first reactions after the accident, various countries, including the United States, placed Putin under the shadow of suspicion. The United States described the accident as an explosion intended to kill Prigosh. However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded that all of these are lies spread by Western powers.

The UK pointed out that there was no evidence that Prigoshyn was on the plane that crashed. The Pentagon said it does not believe the plane was hit by a land-launched missile. It is also alleged that America is behind the attack.
The flight from Moscow to Saint Petersburg crashed shortly after take off.
