Russia Considers Vessels entering Ukrainian Ports as Military Cargo Carriers Due to Suspension of Grain Deal

The decision is due to the suspension of the Grain Deal

From midnight, Russia will consider all vessels entering Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea as military cargo carriers. The information was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, quoted by TASS. This is in connection with the termination of the grain transaction, the department specified.

Russia has stopped the movement of cargo ships through the Kerch Strait since July 16

“From 00:00 Moscow time on July 20, 2023, all vessels sailing in the waters of the Black Sea to Ukrainian ports will be considered as potential carriers of military cargo,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The ministry specifies that the countries under whose flag these vessels sail will be considered participants in the military conflict, occupying the side of Kiev.

The sailors from “Rozhen” were not blocked
