As part of the aviation exercises, the crew of the Be-12 amphibious aircraft carried out reconnaissance of targets in the Black Sea. The role of a detachment of ships of the conditional enemy was performed by the large landing ships Saratov and Orsk.
More than 10 aircraft were involved in the exercise. When practicing the destruction of targets, individually and as part of pairs, the crews made an approach to the combat course. Conditional missile and bomb strikes were worked out. In addition, the military pilots performed simple and complex flight missions from medium and low altitudes, taking into account the overcoming of the air defense means of the imaginary enemy ships.
