Russia claims to have destroyed U.S.-made radar station, Ukraine claims to repel Russian attack
According to the battle report released by the Russian Ministry of Defense on the 22nd local time, the Russian army continued to attack the Ukrainian army in the directions of Kupyansk, Donetsk, Hongliman, and Zaporozhye. In the Zaporozhye area, fighter planes and artillery of the Russian Air Force attacked the command post and ammunition depot of the Ukrainian army. In the Kherson, Donetsk, and Lugansk regions, the Russian army destroyed multiple American-made anti-battery radar stations.
According to a report by the Ukrainian News Agency on the 22nd, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces issued a battle report on the same day stating that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army repelled the Russian army’s attack near 10 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Ukrainian air force carried out 14 strikes on areas where Russian troops were concentrated, and three strikes on positions of Russian air defense missile systems. Ukrainian missile forces and artillery units attacked two areas where Russian military personnel were concentrated.
