The Russian Federation is proving that energy resources are a weapon for it. Therefore, the EU needs to be united and impose an embargo on them.
Russia stops deliveries of its gas to European countries in order to blackmail them and split the unity of Ukraine’s allies. About this on Tuesday, April 26, declared Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.
At the same time, the head of the OP recalled shutdown by Gazprom of Poland from Russian fuel, while Warsaw announced its intention to abandon it in 2023.
“We are seeing a typical Russian rate increase and a departure from any rules and obligations. The EU has repeatedly said that they will not pay for gas in rubles, since the signed contracts do not talk about settlements in a “wooden” currency,” Yermak said.
He emphasized that in this way Moscow proves that energy resources are a weapon for it, and called on the European Union to be united and impose an embargo on them.
As reported, following Poland Russia stopped deliveries of its gas to Bulgaria.
