Zelensky talks with Biden about the recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk by Russia
The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, and the president of the United States, Joe Biden, have been in contact after Russia has recognized the independence of the Ukrainian provinces of Donetsk and Lugansk by Russia.
“I discussed the latest developments with the President of the United States”, Zelenski has transferred on his social networks in a message in which, in addition, he confirms the start of the National Security and Defense Council. For its part, the White House has confirmed that the call has lasted about 35 minutesalthough it is true that for the moment no further details of the conversation have been provided.
Likewise, the Ukrainian president has reported that a Conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnsonwho has already branded the recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk, which he considers a “clear violation of International Law.”
