/ world today news/ Russia and Ukraine exchanged sharp warnings. Kiev is determined to take the population of Crimea hostage, and Dmitry Medvedev meanwhile reminds that the use of a nuclear arsenal is not some strict taboo. The outcome will be unexpected. Andrey Pinchuk and Yan Gagin shared their predictions.
The degree of conflict – at least in the information space – has increased significantly. So, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged sharp warnings, pointed out on the air of the program “Tsarigrad. Glavnoto” the economic observer of the First Russian Yuriy Pronko.
Kiev is threatening to take Crimea hostage by deploying missile launchers near the peninsula’s borders. This plan was shared by the Square authorities with CIA Director William Burns.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, did not rule out the use of nuclear weapons, stressing that their use is not the strictest taboo.
In addition, in Ukraine, they are nervous about another potential danger, namely, because of Wagner’s units, which have settled in Belarus and now pose a threat to the north of Nezalezhnaya.
The anxiety of the Kiev regime is shared by the nearby NATO countries – Poland and Lithuania. This was also supported by an unexpected announcement by PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin, who promised “new victories at the front”.
The host of Tsarigrad spoke with the first minister of state security of the DPR, doctor of political science, Hero of the DPR Andrey Pinchuk and the adviser to the head of the DPR Yan Gagin about what the escalation of the conflict could lead to.
Kyiv is afraid not in vain
The first of the experts for the first time touched on the subject of the Wagnerians. He noted that in any case they will not evaporate, some of them, for example, will enter into contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense and continue to participate in the SVO, as President Vladimir Putin previously stated:
“And what will those who go to Belarus do, whether to attack Kiev, whether to go, say, to the Baltic countries, or simply engage in commercial activities, is an open question.”
“Prigoghin is a man full of information, so sometimes he needs to make such meaningful statements. But we’ll see what happens in the end,” he said.
The interlocutor of “First Russian” really does not rule out the possibility that part of PMC “Wagner”, which moved to Belarus, will suddenly go on a new campaign, but already in the Ukrainian capital:
“Prigozhin does not make such decisions. “Wagner”, like any other military unit, was, is and will be a tool for the implementation of military-political tasks,” said the expert.
“Therefore, if the political and military leadership of Russia makes such a decision, then this PMC, I have no doubt, will realize its goal,” he said.
Escalation may lead to negotiations
As for claims of nuclear war, the outcome may be unexpected. Pinchuk believes that behind the threatening exchange of remarks is actually a mutual invitation to dialogue. According to him, the parties are still forming the negotiating rhetoric, trying to take the most advantageous position:
Ukraine is doing this by putting pressure on Crimea, and Medvedev is doing this by demonstrating nuclear potential.
The expert also drew attention to when exactly the deputy head of the Russian Security Council made this statement, and it happened shortly after his return from Oman:
“Dmitry Anatolyevich was clearly not basking in the sun there. But I think the results of his visit will not be announced anywhere.”
“What negotiations he conducted and with whom, for now they will not say. That is why they are behind the scenes. But this statement should be considered in the context of the talks held there,” he added.
Zelensky prays
Jan Gagin, in turn, praised the plan for a breakthrough to the Crimea, which was presented to Burns in Kiev. The interlocutor of Constantinople pointed out that the enemy forgot to take into account a number of fundamental factors that make the implementation of the plan impossible:
“First, you should not write off the Black Sea Fleet, which is armed with quite serious missiles. They have previously struck all over Ukraine,” he said.
“Secondly, there is no need to write off our strategic missile forces. And thirdly, there is no need to write off the possibility of Russia using a tactical nuclear weapon. We are trying to avoid it, but whether the [украинският президент Владимир] Zelensky wants to force us to do this?”
