The judge and host of the popular show “Master Chef” published a new part of the stories about his life on Instagram, writes Politeka.net… In it, Hector remembered how Ukraine first appeared after living and working in Russia.
“I thought that if I have experience with Russia, then in Ukraine there will be approx. But not everything is so simple, it turned out I ended up in a completely different country, ”the showman admitted.
He said that he first visited Kiev when he was working in Russian St. Petersburg. Then the chef really liked the Ukrainian capital, and he wanted to move there someday. The corresponding chance fell to Hector 4 years later, when he was offered to work in Kiev “Intercontinental”.

“The first 3 months I was delighted with the city, I came, I liked the civilization and the climate … Russia and Ukraine are very different, I was wrong then,” the chef shared his memories.
Hector said that later he had a conflict with the owner of Intercontinental, and he wanted to give up everything and return to Canada, where he initially began his career.
“But the desire to stay and do something else for Ukraine exceeded, and I stayed and worked further. Later, the casting for Master Chef opened, and I decided to go to it … If you think that I was immediately hired, then this is not so, ”added the chef.
