[モスクワ 3日 ロイター] – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that he prefers a “balanced” approach to the issue of the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine rather than emotions.
Heikh Kadyrov of the South Chechen Republic answered reporters’ questions during an online briefing last weekend about his criticisms of the Russian military command and calling for the use of “small nuclear weapons”.
“This is a moment that evokes very strong emotions. Local leaders have the right to express their views,” Peskov said. Emotions should be eliminated, “he said.” We prefer to stick to a balanced and objective assessment, “he said.
He explained that the basis for Russia’s use of nuclear weapons is laid in nuclear doctrine and that “there is no judgment other than that”.
