Now the actor is enjoying a well-deserved holiday in Italy, with his girlfriend Britney Theriot (31), his sons Charles (18) and Tennyson (16), and his mother Jocelyn.
In this connection, he shared a very rare photo of his sons, with a touching story they experienced on the holiday trip in Rome, writes Hello.

On Tuesday, the actor took to Twitter to, among other things, share photos from the family holiday.
“Brought the kids to my old office,” he humorously wrote above the picture. A clear reference to the role in the “Gladiator” film, for which he even won his first and so far only Oscar.
He also shared a very rare picture with his sons.
It is not often that we get to see the two boys together with their father.
The picture is from 2010, when Crowe was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and one of the very few times the family has been together in front of the photographers.

The actor also shared a story they experienced from the day. Indeed, his mother was moved to tears after feeling the presence of her late husband and Crowe’s father, John, who died last March 85 years old.
In the message, he asked those who are lucky enough to have their parents nearby to take care of them, call them, and visit them.
Of all songs, of all times… how? I looked at my mum, she looked at me. My Fathers presence overwhelmed us both. She had a little cry and I kissed her on the head. He was with her.
If you’re lucky enough to have your parents around, look after them. Call, visit, show them love.
“The music flowed up to us. It took me a while to realize it was ‘Danny Boy’ they were playing, one of the songs we played at the funeral,” the gruff actor wrote, adding:
The New Zealand-born actor currently lives in Australia. Throughout the pandemic, however, he has stayed close to his parents, who live in New South Wales in Australia.
– Dad is 84, and mum is 79. They suffer from things that people their age do, you know, this and that. It was better for me to be where they were, he stated last year Extra TV.
