The offender, a Russian citizen permanently residing in Bulgaria, allowed himself to park on the sandbar and dunes of the so-called “Driver Beach” near Sozopol.
The same person stopped last night with his car “Toyota Rav 4”, with Burgas registration in violation of the law on the arrangement of the Black Sea coast, and the signal for this was received this morning in Ru Sozopol. The Russian citizen was charged with a violation of the Criminal Code, with a fine ranging from BGN 1,000 to BGN 3,000.
The last case in which the employees of RU – Sozopol were referred for illegal stopping on the dunes of the driver’s beach was on July 15, when the offender was a 34-year-old man from Dobrich.
As an excuse, he pointed out to the police officers that he could not find a place to spend the night with his family and that is why he stopped there. However, contrary to logic, he did not stop parallel to the asphalt road above the dunes, but directly on them and the sand strip, for which he was sanctioned according to the order of the day.
