Rural youth collect old clothes – Samerberger Nachrichten

The Catholic rural youth movement Aising-Pang (KLJB) is once again collecting old clothes, bed linen, household linen and shoes as part of the “Rumpelkammer” campaign for a good cause in the Rosenheim city area. The clothing donations are sold to recovery and recycling companies. The KLJB uses all of the proceeds from this for charitable purposes, usually for one-world work projects.

Collection will take place on Saturday, March 4th, in the area of the Am Wasen district church. In the districts of Aising, Pang, Westerndorf am Wasen, Oberkaltbrunn and Stocka, the members, under the direction of CEO Adrian Stadler and Anna Gilg, collect the collection bags from the roadside. In Hohenofen, Pösling, Brucklach and Schwaig collection takes place along Hohenofener Straße. In addition, there are again two central collection points for the rest of the city: at the parish center in Oberwöhr, Krainstraße 23, and at the Heilig Blut parish center, Heilig-Blut-Straße 43a. The collection bags must be ready by 8 a.m. at the latest, but should not be ready the evening before. Empty garment bags are available in all six parish and branch churches of the Am Wasen district church and also at the Maier bakery in Pang. They should be well tied and not bulging.
