Most likely next Sunday in Blagoevgrad there will be a runoff between the mayoral candidate of “There is such a people” Ilko Stoyanov and the independent, supported by BSP Rumen Tomov. This is shown by the preliminary data of the candidates’ headquarters. Third is the independent, supported by GERB Andon Todorov.
Stoyanov has about 36%, 6% less Tomov, who was elected mayor in 2019, but due to a company not deleted in time, the MEC removed him, and the court upheld the decision. Todorov remains third with just over 20%.
There are no official data from the MEC yet.
