The New York City Marathon plans to allow another 50,000 participants on November 6. That is a return to the years before the corona pandemic. A virtual edition took place in 2020. Last year there were approximately 25,000 finishers. There is good hope that everything will go ahead. The mayor is also determined to give the green light for a marathon with mass participation. Registration opens on March 9 (until March 23). All participants must be fully vaccinated. All side activities will also be organized again on November 6 and the days before.
