At Gamescom 2023, the developer studio Eleventh Hour Games shared plans for the future Last Epoch, as well as details of the upcoming big content update. Patch 0.9.2 will be called “Runes of Power” and will be released on September 7th. He will introduce a new class into the game – Rune Master (Runemaster, Mage class mastery). The update will also include localization into eight new languages (Chinese, French, German, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish), a new in-game event called “Rune Prison”, which will reward “experimental” item affixes not available elsewhere in the game, as well as dozens of new monsters, quest updates, unique items, and more . The game is currently in early access. At release, the game will feature a trading system and two factions that players can join – the “Guild of Merchants” and the “Circle of Fortune”.
