It was Rune Hvidsten (59) who died in the tragic accident in Enebakkveien near Siggerud in Nordre Follo municipality, south of Oslo, on Monday.
– There has been a major collision between a lorry and a car, said operations manager Frode Petersen to Østlandets Blad Monday.
Hvidsten’s lawyer, Hans Kristian Skarpholt, confirms to Nettavisen that it was Hvidsten who died in the traffic accident on Monday.
– The family can confirm that Rune Hvidsten was involved in the tragic traffic accident that resulted in him passing away. They will now await the police investigation of what caused the accident, before they possibly say anything more in the case, he says.

The 59-year-old led Askim and Spydeberg Sparebank for seven years. In early February wrote The online newspaper that he had lost his job.
