YouTuber Muhammad Kece caught the team Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri related to allegations of blasphemy. The process of his arrest turned out to be quite complicated because Muhammad Kece was hiding in a rice field area.
detik.com obtained a video clip of the moments of Muhammad Kece’s arrest, Thursday (26/8/2020).
In the video, a number of police from the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim lead Muhammad Kece out of the rice fields. It was dark at that time. Police used flashlights to light the way.
“Mr. Kace, why did Mr. Kace run away?” heard a policeman ask Muhammad Kece. “One world search Pak Kace,” said another policeman. On YouTube, Muhammad Kece is often called Pak Kace. His real name is H Muhamad Kasman.
“Hello. Yes, just met now. This is what’s interesting meet him in the rice fields,” said Muhammad Kece. His path seemed limp when he was led to a car. In the photo after his arrest, he was seen using a stick.

The process of arresting Muhammad Kece is quite complicated. Initially the Dittipidsiber team had searched for him in several locations, but could not find him. There was also information that Muhammad Kace was going to cross outside Bali, but after the Bali Regional Police and the Regional Police had sealed off him, he was not found.
Finally, investigators from the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim returned to the rented house suspected of hiding Muhammad Kece in the Mengwi area, Badung Regency, Bali. However, he was not on location.
Not giving up hope, investigators from the Dittipidsiber Bareskrim then expanded the search area, including to the rice fields around the location using a flashlight. This effort was ultimately not in vain. The police then found Muhammad Kece hiding in the dark in the rice field area.
Dirtipidsiber Bareskrim Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri directly led this arrest. He said this case had attracted attention from the start because it was troubling the community. Muhammad Kece was reported by a number of parties because the controversial video content he uploaded on YouTube intersects with SARA.
“By spreading SARA-laden content against Muslims through Muhammad Kece’s YouTube Channel,” said Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri in a release, Wednesday (25/8/2021).
Muhammad Kece’s words in a number of videos on YouTube are considered to have blasphemed religion. As a result of his actions, Muhammad Kece was caught in the ITE Law.
“The suspect was charged with Article 45A paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph (2) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and/or Article 156 and/or Article 156 letter a. Criminal Code,” explained Brigadier General Asep Edi Suheri.
Muhammad Kece has now been taken to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit. He has been named a suspect and detained. He was detained for the next 20 days from the time of detention.
