“Run over by a thresher”, then the cut off phone call – Libero Quotidiano

The two young Moroccan girls were found dead dispersed since Friday morning in the countryside of San Giuliano Milanese, at the gates of the Lombard capital. The carabinieri were on their trail as soon as they received a phone call in Arabic from one of the two women who reported her injury and the death of her friend. “Help, we were hit by a thresher”, The girl’s sentences before the call ended abruptly.

Since then the number was no longer reachable and so the searches were started in the open countryside, without, among other things, the help of the location of the telephone, which could not be traced. The lifeless bodies of the two girls, one of 28 and the other of 32, were found around 8 pm on Saturday 3 July in a corn field that runs along the West ring road. The investigations will obviously go on to try to reconstruct what happened in the countryside of San Giuliano Milanese.

One of the two women appears to have a history and it is not clear why they were there. The first hypothesis circulated is that perhaps the girls were lying in the fields and might not have noticed the arrival of an agricultural vehicle, which would have overwhelmed them. If so, then the driver would have run away without sounding the alarm. But no leads can be excluded, too few details have emerged so far.
