Rumors Xiaomi 12 will Debut December 12, 2021

The end of the year is near, and you know what that means? Yes! In the near future, on November 30, 2021, Qualcomm will hold its annual event. At the event, Qualcomm will announce some of the latest innovations it has developed, including introducing its flagship mobile chipset.

After Qualcomm announced the presence of Snapdragon 8 Gen1, as its newest flagship chipset, it is certain that a number of smartphone manufacturers who are keen to produce flagship devices will soon start the “race”. Yes! They will soon announce their first device powered by this chipset.

Both Motorola, which Lenovo still owns and Xiaomi are likely to start the race later this year. While it’s not clear who will “win” the race, according to rumors circulating in China, the Xiaomi 12 announcement date has been set (although it hasn’t been announced to the public yet).

Reportedly, the Xiaomi 12 powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen1 will be introduced on December 12, 2021. The reason for the rumor is because of 12, 12/12, and worldwide symmetry. Allegedly the initial idea will be held on December 16. So, if these rumors are true, the event will be on a Sunday, which is quite strange indeed.

Another interesting rumor claims that Xiaomi will also introduce the Xiaomi 12X at the event. Then, what about the “premium flagship” model, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Apparently, Xiaomi will not introduce the smartphone on December 12, 2021, but in 2022.

It is said that the Xiaomi 12 is said to have a curved screen decorated with a punch-hole as the front camera housing. Coming as a flagship device, of course Xiaomi will mix this smartphone screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of “2K”.

Not to forget, Xiaomi will also re-embed dual speakers to pamper its users who like to listen to music or watch movies. Meanwhile, the rear camera system will have three lenses, where the main lens is 50 MP with sensors made by Samsung or Sony.

Other features that Xiaomi will likely pack into the Xiaomi 12 are 120Hz fast charging and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi 12 is likely to arrive in the market with the MIUI 13 interface from day one. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has yet to open a voice regarding the Xiaomi 12. So, let’s just wait!
