Now the Fantastic animalsseries failed both critically and commercially, it becomes clear that continuing and expanding the Wizarding World seems a little easier said than done.
Earlier it became clear that the original cast members of “Harry Potter” (Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint in Emma Watson) apparently reluctant to return for a change of The Cursed Child.
Because of this, the future of the franchise has become highly questionable. Warner Bros execs have claimed that “something” is in the works, and a new rumor about it sounds very interesting.
Again from the beginning
According to ‘ScreenGeek’ sources (via channel SFFGazette.com) there are actual plans to reboot the entire franchise, starting at The philosopher’s Stone and ends with Deathly Hallows.
The project hasn’t been officially confirmed yet and is said to be in a very early stage of development, so little is known about how or what. There is a possibility that the story will be given a modern twist or told from another character’s perspective.
