There are plenty of signs, rumors and insiders pointing to the possibility of a new Nintendo console being released in the second half of next year. Since the Switch was released in early 2017, this sounds reasonable.
But when can we see the console? Well, if Microsoft insider and Windows Central editor Jez Corden is to be believed – it might actually happen soon. He claims he heard the Switch’s successor was actually locked behind doors during Gamescom last week.He took this to mean that the official disclosure could“relatively imminent”.
While Corden primarily writes about Microsoft products and services, he has a proven track record and has been the number one spot for several big scoops in the past. We don’t know how good his relationship with Nintendo is, but we won’t deny it outright.
