Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported last week that Apple will introduce the first devices with M3 processors this October. Most likely, these will be the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 13-inch MacBook Air, and 24-inch iMac. And now he spoke about new products that will debut only in 2024.
What to expect
So, if we see a 13-inch MacBook Pro with M3 this year, then models with screens with a diagonal of 14 and 16 inches should not wait until 2024. These laptops are expected to feature more advanced M3 Pro and M3 Max processors and launch no later than mid-2024.
And towards the end of next year, Apple should introduce a new Mac mini with an M3 processor. By the way, Mac mini with M2 was released more than 2 years after the version with M1 was introduced, so you should definitely not count on an annual computer update.
The M3 is rumored to be manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process, which should have a positive impact on its performance and energy efficiency.
