Rumors of the iPhone 15 Pro will not have physical buttons

The solid-state button itself isn’t really new technology. This type of button has been used as a Home button on iPhone 7, iPhone 8, iPhone SE 2, and iPhone SE 3.

As is well known, Apple ditched the physical Home button in 2016. That mechanical button has been replaced with a solid-state button that doesn’t actually have any physical moving elements.
